Chorale Ophélia(above) Founded in 1997, from the previous Chorale de Fresnay, Chorale Ophélia is made up of adults from around the community of Fresnay-sur-Sarthe, Alpes Mancelles, in West France. They sing a range of music, from traditional Sacred Choral works (such as Bach’s St John Passion) to Gospel Music (Swing Low, Sweet Chariot). They are directed by M Laurent Beunache (above, foreground). |

As we look forward to Christmas, and the annual Minstrels & Mince Pies Carol Concert, it is worth looking back just a few weeks to July, and the visit of our friends from Fresnay-sur-Sarthe. The Concert was a huge success, with nearly 200 people in the audience, and |
